The United Way Day of Caring is focused on 3rd Ward Cleanup Sept 25th from 9am-2pm.
United Way Southeast Arkansas is excited to announce the “Day of Caring” 3rd Ward Cleanup, a powerful community-driven event dedicated to making Southeast Arkansas shine through kindness and teamwork. The event will take place at Kingdom Builders Outreach Church, 3105 S. Apple St., Pine Bluff, AR.

This new opportunity lets you spread kindness even further by helping with cleanup and improvements at our latest location. Join us and make a positive impact!
Please bring yard tools, trimmers, shears, gloves, etc…….
This collaborative effort brings together partners including Clean & Beautiful, the City of Pine Bluff, Simmons Bank, Pine Bluff Waste Management, 3rd Ward alderpersons William Fells and Lanette Frazier, Edgewood Elementary School, GVI Juvenile Program, Pine Bluff Fire Department, SEARK College Sports, and many more community-minded organizations and individuals.
Volunteers will work in teams led by dedicated captains, focusing on four key areas:
- Edgewood Inner Garden (limited to 20 volunteers)
- Front Flower Beds (limited to 20 volunteers)
- South Apple St. (trash pick-up)
- Orlando St. (trash pick-up, debris removal, weed-eating, mowing; dumpster on-site)
- Animal Shelter Rainbow Bridge (painting project, limited to 10 volunteers)
“We’re thrilled to see so many partners and volunteers coming together to care for our community,” said Jason Duren , Executive Director of United Way Southeast Arkansas. “The Day of Caring is a chance for everyone to lend a hand, show kindness, and make a real impact in Pine Bluff.”
Volunteers will check in at the United Way Table and receive supplies. Projects start after a welcome session and continue throughout the day, ending with a group celebration.

- South Apple St. – primarily trash pick-up. unlimited volunteers
- Orlando St. – trash pick-up, debris removal, weed-eating, mowing unlimited volunteers
