SUMMIT SOUNDZ PRESENTS SPRING CONCERT
The Summit Soundz Celebration Band will present a
spring concert on Saturday, April 27 at 6:00 PM in the
worship center of Summit Baptist Church, 901 Ridgway
Road in Pine Bluff.
The program will include arrangements such as the
chorale-style hymn “Nearer My God To Thee” and the
Dixieland swing tune “Just A Closer Walk With Thee.”
The 2024 graduating band seniors will be recognized
and honored along with announcing the summer band
camp scholarship recipients. This will also include
awarding for the first time the Al Wimberly Scholarship.
“This will be a very enjoyable program, said Lewis Hinkle,
Director of Summit Soundz. There will be music that
appeals to every music lover! Bring your family and
friends!” The public is invited to attend. The concert is
free but there will be an opportunity to contribute to the
scholarship fund.
