Through the Mental Health First Aid certification course, you will learn how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.

Classes will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided. After completing your registration, an instructor will contact you to provide more details and class materials. At the Monticello library
