On Friday, February 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, all Jefferson County employees are invited to the pantry located at 1201 Commerce Road, Pine Bluff, AR 71601, to celebrate with Karen Wolfe, singer of the line dance single “Have A Good Time”, and receive free groceries, hot plate lunches, and more.
This initiative made possible through collaboration with FWLGP, Arkansas Food Bank, Metal Roof Pros, Saracen Casino Resort and CMI (Central Moloney Inc.), aims to offer much needed relief to Jefferson County Employees who have just received their pay, after weeks of not receiving one. It is a gesture of support for those facing hardship and a reminder that the community stands together in times of need.
Debra Allen, Executive Director of the pantry stated, “Our goal is to ensure that no one in our community has to worry about where their next meal is coming from. We are incredibly grateful to those who have joined us in making this possible, and we hope this brings comfort and support to Jefferson County employees still going through a difficult time.”
