Mon, Jan 6 from 6:00pm
to 7:30pm
There will be a new 4-week crochet class series for everybody who wants to learn basic techniques and get familiar with easy patterns at the Star City library. The class series will be held on Monday nights, starting on January 6, 6-7:30 pm.
The classes are free, but registration is required. We’ll start with 15 participants to assure that our instructor has enough time to help individually if necessary. We’ll provide all materials, but crocheters are always invited to bring their own hooks and yarn. We’ll work on a basic crochet project after learning starter techniques.
The classes are for teens (13+) and adults, and experienced crocheters are welcome. After the 4-week intro class series ends, folks who would like to continue crocheting, are invited to join the crochet circle group that meets on Tuesday nights to work on different projects. All ideas and skills welcome! Let’s make this a really fun get together at the library and get inspired by fellow crocheters!
Our class instructor and crochet circle leader is our very own substitute librarian Shaina ONeil. She is super creative and crochets the most gorgeous things – from granny square bags, blankets, scarfs, to cardigans, etc.
We’re pretty sure she’ll bring some of her showstoppers!
Registration is required: Sign up for this class series by calling 628-4711.
