We’re gearing up for the Trevarland Foundation – 4th Annual Back 2 School Bash 2025.
Our goal is simple: to provide *backpacks and school supplies, gun violence awareness (taking the pledge for a safe school year), FREE haircuts, activities, food and FUN to help students build confidence in a healthy and positive environment. *Students MUST be present to receive a backpack.
This will further our mission of building community through prevention with education and awareness for anti-gun violence and intervention by providing a safe community centered event.
Trevarland Foundation – 4th Annual Back 2 School Bash will be held on Saturday, July 19th, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm, in the Wabbaseka Community Center and Park.
This is a FREE public/community event.

Trevarland Foundation, a 501c3 organization, established and named in honor of Wabbaseka native, Trevarland Smith, ‘Box’, who was a victim of senseless gun violence, in 2018.
The mission of Trevarland Foundation is to provide education and awareness of gun violence, prevention for our youth to reduce gun violence and community-based programs to support our communities that are impacted through positive social connections. Now, more than ever, gun violence doesn’t just affect one – it impacts the health of the community!
The 4th Annual Back 2 School Bash is sponsored in part by the City of Wabbaseka, Life Skills for Youth (LSY), Baptist Health Community Outreach, U of A Cooperative Extension Jefferson County, Arkansas Minority Health Commission, Alex Foundation and Dorthy’s Hats and High Tea.
Wyndolyn Smith Adams, executive director and founder for Trevarland Foundation, said when a community loses a loved one due to gun violence, it affects the health of the community. Communities that heal together will transform and grow stronger together. So, our goal is to help create environmental changes that will live on.
