Mon, Oct 14 from 6:00pm
to 9:00pm
Free-floating fishing devices (Jugs, Noodles) and yo-yos are an exciting and fun way to expand your fish catching opportunities. They are especially handy when fishing with people that may not yet have the patience of a seasoned angler.
This introductory level class will give attendees hands-on experience with commercial/homemade free-floating fishing devices and yo-yos. Students will also learn how to build their own custom made noodle(s) from scratch. The class instructor will discuss AGFC Rules and Regulations regarding free-floating fishing devices and yo-yos. If you are interested in learning a new fishing technique, then this class is for you! If you’re looking for ways to keep (yourself) or the kids entertained while on the water, then this class is for you!
For class attendees (18 y/o and up) interested in testing out their custom noodles on the water, DRNC will host a late evening alternative fishing opportunity with our experienced staff on October 14th 2024 (6-9 p.m.) on Caney Bayou. Attendance is limited to those who complete the introductory level class on October 8th 2024. A valid fishing license is required! PFDs will be provided and must be worn while on the water.
