The Jefferson County Election Commission will meet Friday at 6 p.m. to conduct hearings for people whose ballots were not counted during the primary election last week.
According to Commission Chairman Mike Adam, all proof of voter identification issues were to have been settled by noon Tuesday at the County Clerk’s Office and those ballots will be counted if the identification was the only issue.
Final decisions will also be made on any provisional ballots cast an d all approved ballots will be processed and added to the ballot totals so the results can be certified.
The meeting will take place at the election commission office at 123 W. Main St.
