As congress gets down to work on creating and passing what President Donald Trump has called a “big, beautiful bill” dealing with the federal budget, Fourth District Congressman Bruce Westerman is right in the middle of it.
Westerman joined the Oldies 1013 Morning Show by phone Tuesday and talked about the process.
Morning Show host Greg Horne said he had heard that Westerman was on another committee last week that was charged with cutting a lot of money from the budget.
Horne described it as a “big deal” that people driving electric vehicles don’t pay money (for taxes) at the pump.
