Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services personnel were on scene at the Pines Mall for between 8 and 10 hours Thursday as they found a blaze that reportedly began in the area where the mall office use to be.
On Friday, Chief Shauwn Howell was asked about the damage that was caused and also if a cause had been determined.
Howell went on to talk about one of the challenges associated with the fire.
Appearing on the Oldies 101.3 morning show, Howell was asked if the mall currently posed a danger to people.
