It was recently announced the SeArk College would add athletics by joining the National Junior College Athletic Association. The SeArk Sharks will play in Division Two of the NJCAA, and a formal press conference was held Tuesday to introduce where SeArk College President Steven Bloomberg formally introduced inaugural Athletic Director Chad Kline at the former Seabrook YMCA.
Kline gave an early look at what all sports will be featured at SeArk College.
Kline said that one goal is to help bring the community together with athletics, but to also provide resources needed to succeed.
He also spoke about the NJCAA and some of his early goals for SeArk athletics.
Kline said starting a new program from scratch is a challenge, but having good leadership will help with that.
He also said that he has been in contact with a lot of baseball and softball coaches about the open head coach positions.
Kline also spoke about what the process will be like for hiring coaches for the open positions.
