Several Deltaplex area counties have issued burn bans due to dry and windy conditions.
Counties with active burn bans include Bradley, Cleveland, Dallas, Desha, Drew, Grant, and Lincoln counties.
Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson has not issued a burn bat at this time despite several reported fires in recent days, to include a wildfire in south Jefferson County on Thursday that burned 12 acres of land.
Extreme caution should be observed in Jefferson County if you choose to burn.
