A $5,000 bond was set Monday for a Maumelle woman accused of taking a card reader from the Saracen Casino Friday.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Shameka Kelly, 38, with financial identity fraud.
Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Detective Sgt. Steven Rucker, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said an officer was sent to the casino where an employee reported that a woman later identified as Kelly had stolen a card reader that was at the front door of the casino and that recorded customers names and identifying information.
A casino spokesman told Deltaplex News that information on the card reader could not be accessed by the general public.
Kelly said she would hire her own attorney.
