The Civic Auditorium Complex Commission is thrilled to announce Mrs. Barbara Dunn as its new Executive Director effective August 2024.
Dunn, an accomplished and visionary leader, brings a wealth of experience to The Pine Bluff Convention Center. With a 35 year proven track record of success in higher education and state government as well as trained experience in Educational Administration, Leadership, Marketing, Grant Writing, Human Resources, Fundraising, Recruitment, and Project Management, Dunn is poised to lead The Pine Bluff Convention Center into a new era of continued growth and success for our community.
Dunn recently served as the Executive Director of Institutional Advancement and Public Relations at Southeast Arkansas College. She has 24 years of experience in higher education where she truly changed the lives of students in Pine Bluff.
“I am thrilled to be joining The Pine Bluff Convention Center. I have a strong passion for my community and I look forward to continuing my mission to serve in a different capacity through this new role. I look forward to meeting the guests and donors and connecting more of the community to come learn, play, create and celebrate with us. I look forward to building upon all the great things that the staff and the commission have accomplished in the past years and I am excited to be a part of the advancement in Pine Bluff,” Dunn said.
Dunn is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and a graduate of Watson Chapel High School, The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and Webster University. She is a member of the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Club (Redcoats) and currently serves as a member of Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce Executive Board and the Pine Bluff Advertising and Promotion Commission.
