Arkansas residents can now order replacement IDs and licenses online.
The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) announced that starting May 12, individuals needing duplicate licenses can request them via the internet, and the DFA will mail them out. This new service aims to allow state Revenue Offices to concentrate more on processing REAL IDs.
Recently, the DFA has been issuing around 10,000 REAL IDs daily, with a total of 132,000 issued since April 1. The deadline for obtaining a REAL ID was implemented on May 7.
