“Well done, good and faithful servant”
David “Peanut” Lynn Rauls, age 62, of Lake Village, passed away on July 11, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Dermott, Arkansas to the late George and Nadine Rauls.
David spent his life farming before retirement. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Lake Village. He enjoyed hunting, but most of all enjoyed his days at the deer camp with family. His quick wit and sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, George Quinon Rauls Sr. and his sister, Margie Rauls.
He is survived by Debra Rauls, his son, Joe Rauls of Lake Village; his daughters, Amy (Earl) Anderson of Lake Village and Shannon (Clint) Brown of Ethel, Mississippi; his grandchildren Tyson and Savannah Steen of McCool, Mississippi, Grace and Darren Brewer of Ethel, Mississippi, Adam Rauls of Lake Village and Andie (Garrett) McMickle of Lake Village; one great grandchild Kinley Steen of McCool, Mississippi; His brothers Jason (Paula) Rauls of Lake Village, Randy (Tracy) Rauls of Dermott, Shannon (Lena) Rauls of Lake Village, Chopper (Daffy) Rauls of Kilbourne, Louisiana and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will take place at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church Tuesday at 11:00am with Brother Philip Payne officiating, fellowship will follow.
Pallbearers are as listed: Adam Rauls, Tyson Steen, Garrett McMickle, Earl Anderson, Clint Brown and Joe Rauls.
Honorary Pallbearers are as listed: Randy Rauls, Chopper Rauls, Jason Rauls and Shannon Rauls.
