1960-2026
Jeffrey Alan Tucker, of the Enon Community in Monticello, went to be with the Lord on June 28th, 2026. He was 65 years old.
Jeff was born on October 24, 1960, in Monticello, AR to the Late Winburn Tucker and the late Donna Cox Rezab. He grew up in Monticello and attended Drew Central High School, graduating in the class of 1979. After high school he traveled working with a company that painted the inside of dams until an injury caused him to quit. He moved to Florida for a while and worked for Lockheed Martin in their shipping department. He eventually moved back to Monticello and lived and worked until he retired early due to medical issues.
Jeff loved the outdoors and being in nature. He was a quiet man with simple needs. He was the apple of his mother's eye and will be missed by his sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ludie and Lyman Cox and Margie and R. J. Tucker.
Here are a couple of quotes found on his Facebook page; “Look for something positive each day, even if some days you must look a little harder. Be kind to each other. You don't know what another person is going through. Give them a hug and offer a hand instead of judging."
Survivors include two sisters, Stacy Smith (Jeff) of Bauxite and Trudy Carrington (Alan) of Rowlett, TX; nieces Brittni Hankins (Matt) and Maddison Smith all of Bauxite; a nephew, Justin Carrington of Rowlett, TX; a great nephew, Rowan Hankins; along with numerous aunts and uncles, and a host of cousins, too many to name.
There will be a visitation at the Enon Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, followed by lunch and a graveside service in Enon Cemetery performed by Pastor Michael Griffith.
