| Efforts are underway to restart American Legion Post 32 in Pine Bluff, which has been closed for most of 2025-26. This is the only Legion Post remaining in Pine Bluff. A work day is scheduled for June 27 at the Post located at 3200 South Main Street in Pine Bluff. All interested veterans and their families are invited to attend. The first Legion meeting to reorganize is scheduled for June 30 at 6:30pm at the Post for all veterans who are interested in joining/rejoining the Post.
American Legion District 9, which includes several counties including Jefferson County, is hosting the meeting. Organizers say the meeting is open to all honorably discharged veterans and their family members interested in joining and helping restart this Post and its Legion Auxiliary. Officials say the goal is to rebuild a local post that can support veterans and provide community service opportunities in Pine Bluff and Jefferson County.
