One of nine siblings. The basketball player. The clarinet player. The one they called "Donut." The math teacher. The inventor of the Holloway Clip. The tennis coach. A Stuttgart, AR legend. Eric "Coach" Holloway, 80, departed this life peacefully on June 3, 2026.
His legacy will live on through his children: Warrick Holloway, LaCondia Holloway-Bailey, and Bethany (Carlos) Holloway-Williams; grandchildren, Joshua Holloway, Madison Holloway, and Carlos Williams Jr.; siblings, Glenn (Mary) Holloway, Christopher Holloway (fiancée, Barbara Holt), and Jacqueline Holloway; in-laws, Charlie (Scharlde) Franklin and Hosea Long; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, several close friends, former students, athletes, and the Stuttgart community.
Visitation 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church Stuttgart, AR.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday June 14, 2026, at Stuttgart Jr. High School Gymnasium Stuttgart, AR. Interment in St. Paul Cemetery Roe, AR by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR.
