Jo Ann Harris Jacks, 85, of Pine Bluff, was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved playing golf, riding horses and spending time with her friends and family.
She passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at Green House Cottages in Rison.
Jo Ann was born March 15, 1941, in Rison, daughter of Raymond Lee Harris and Lucille Norton Harris.
She was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1959.
Jo Ann was a faithful Baptist who also loved serving her customers at Fairfield Federal Credit Union. She worked at Fairfield for 38 years, retiring as an assistant manager.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman “Buddy” Jacks, whom she married February 10, 1960, in Sheridan; and her brother, Raymond Harris.
Survivors include four daughters, Cristy Lowe of Dickson, TN, Kelly Baker (Jeff) of Pine Bluff, Karla Jacks of Lexington, KY and Carrie Christoffersen (Seth) Fremont, MI; 11 grandchildren, Crystal Sidwell (Brandon), Ryan Sullivan (Josh), Jared Baker, Alyson Cantwell (Justin), Jacob Baker (Ashley), Raine Fraiser (Matt), Brett Balcirak, Halle Clark (Shadow), Colton Christoffersen (Elise), Caden Christoffersen and Lily Kate Christoffersen; 8 great-grandchildren, Ava Gray Sidwell, Ella Sullivan, Creed Sullivan, Brock Cantwell, Brookelyn Cantwell, Keslie Baker, Aaryn Baker, River Fraiser and 3 more great-grandchildren on the way.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2026, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Brother Jeff Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Woodlawn. Visitation will be on Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Robinson’s.
