Sandra Lea Jones Green, 81 of Fordyce died Tuesday May 26, 2026 at her home. Born January 3, 1945 at Tulip, she was a daughter of the late Willie Elmer Jones and Virgie Alleen Lea Jones. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, John Jones, Joy Jones, and Edna Jordan.
She is survived by her husband, Grady Lavern Green of Fordyce; three sons, Clark Green and wife Deborah of Fordyce, Gary Green and wife Calinda of Farmington, Carl Green and wife Jessi of Wake Forest, North Carolina; a sister, Patsy Adams of Cabot; seven grandchildren, Morgan Major and husband Billy, Madeline Green, Kailey Tryan and husband Jesse, Shelby Green, Wesley Green, Laurel Green, Grady Green; and two great-grandchildren, Braden and Brett Major.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tulip Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
