Robert Carol Rogers, 51, of White Hall, was a loving husband, bonus father and grandfather who took pride in serving others and had a great sense of humor.

He passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.

Robert was born December 16, 1974, in Pine Bluff, son of Jessie Rogers.

He was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School.

Robert served in the United States Navy after high school.

He spent the rest of his adult life serving others, whether it was driving a truck for Insley’s, Foster’s or Billy’s wrecker service, working for MECA or serving in law enforcement with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, the US Marshall’s Service or the White Hall Police Department. Most recently, he took great pride in helping the kids at Taylor Elementary in White Hall as their resource officer. Robert retired from the White Hall Police Department on March 3, 2026.

Robert loved traveling, particularly to Fort Walton Beach, Florida and enjoyed fishing. He was passionate about making sure his yard was perfect, enjoyed relaxing with friends and spending time with his grandkids (including those whom he helped raise) and his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his mother; step-son, Timothy Britton Cheek; grandparents, Jesse and Henrietta Mann; and several aunts and uncles (including his favorite aunt, Mary Rogers).

Survivors include his wife and the love of his life, Luan Kelly-Rogers, whom he married on July 25, 2005, in Eureka Springs overlooking the Christ of the Ozarks; step-son, Justin Cheek (Brianne); in-laws, Bobby and Nancy Kelly; sister and brother-in-law, Paul and Susan Smith; uncles, Willie Mann (Lisa), Daniel (Bobbie) Rogers and Steven (Pam) Mann; and grandchildren, Caden Anthony Cheek, Hunter G. Cheek, Rayden D. Cheek, Grady L. Cheek, Tyler Bo Cheek, Ryker C. Cheek and Brixton L. Cheek.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Brother Paul Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson and Fuller in White Hall.
