1939-2026
Richard Harold Hicks, 86, of White Hall, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2026.
He was born October 15, 1939, in Hickman, Kentucky to Finis and Lois Hicks Butram.
He loved hunting and was a member of White Hall United Pentecostal Church and retired from Stant as a machine operator.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Fay Williams Hicks, whom he married on December 6, 1957, in Manado, Mississippi; a son, Larry Gene Hicks; a daughter, Marilyn Fay Cox; his parents; a brother, David Butram; sisters, Betty Ruth Barber, Judy Hazlip, Linda Davingport, and Pauline Hicks Brummel.
Survivors include his daughters, Jonell Lucena (Antonio), Ruth Ann Casteel (Brent); a son, Richard Charles Hicks (Glenda); sisters, Carol Warfield, Faye Hudson, Joann Mayo; nine grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at White Hall United Pentecostal Church from 1 to 2 p.m.
The funeral service will start at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Chris Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow in Cypress Memorial Gardens.
