Patricia Carol Rutherford, 78, of Redfield, passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, April 22, 2026. She was born May 19, 1947 to the late Claud Rutherford and Sybil Imogene Bradshaw Rutherford.
Patricia graduated from Mabelvale High School, then attended ASU and UCA. She worked for FDA/NCTR and the Veteran’s Administration for over 40 years as a program assistant. Patricia loved sewing, cooking, baking, reading, history and all kinds of music. She was a huge Elvis fan, had even been president of the Elvis Presley Fan Club and established Elvis Presley Day in Pine Bluff. Patricia was always very loving and caring and was the textbook definition of a single mother. She was very devoted to her family and friends and was very good at spoiling them. She could also find the good in any person.
Survivors include her daughter, Krystle Hula (Kieth); siblings, Claud Rutherford, Pamela Crawford (Kevin) and Roben Brooks (Ray); grandchildren, Brett Hula (Jami), Camden Hula, Tayler Hula, Kinsleigh Hula and Wyatt Hula; great grandchildren, Annaka Patton, Jaxon Hula and Marisol Hula.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
