John Giddion Campbell, age 86, of PineBluff was taken to his heavenly home on April 9, 2026 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born in Arkansas City to the late Lester Lee Campbell and Susan Campbell.
He is proceeded in death by one son, Johnathan Wesley Campbell; four brothers, Lester, Charles, Frank, and Oscar Campbell; one sister, Cathy Miller; and his former wife, Betty Joe Campbell Browning, to whom he was married for many years.
John was survived by one sister, Daisy Langley, three sons, Charles (Teresa) Campbell of Pine Bluff, Lester Campbell of Carlile, and Adam ( Tasha) Campbell of Sherrill; one daughter, Crystal (Bobby) Edwards of Sherrell; and honorary daughter Wendy (Alfredo) Valencia of England. He has seven grandkids, Deshay Cooksey, Susan Campbell, Hayden Campbell, all of Pine Bluff, Brian Pennington, Sarah Dunn, Robert Godwin, all from England, and honorary granddaughter Keyshonna Isom of Rison. He also is survived by seven great grandkids, Natalie and TJ Miles of Pine Bluff, Kynzleigh Campbell of Pine Bluff, Molly Gracelyn and Charles (Junior) Dunn of England, and Jayden Burnett of Rison and a host of family and friends.
John was of the Baptist faith. He spent his early years as a farmer but most of all he enjoyed life on the bank of a river or on a boat seat enjoying life passing him by and then when it was either know how or luck pulling in some big ole catfish. His other favorite past time was growing the biggest prettiest garden.
As the last note please remember all of his family and friends he loved dearly and spoke of y’all often.
A graveside service will take place on Monday, April 13, 2026 at Kelso Cemetery at 2:00pm.
