1935-2026
Thomas Wilson Edwards, 90, of Grady passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026 at his home. He was born April 27, 1935 to the late Tom Ed and Ida Catherine Johnson Edwards.
Thomas was a member of First Baptist Church of Grady and a retired sales clerk for Walmart. He was also a member of the Grady Lions Club, Grady Fire Department for 30 years, did some HVAC repair and worked at Ben Pearson. Thomas enjoyed farming, making leather crafts and working on his 55 Chevy Bel Air.
Also preceding him in death are his brothers Guy Edwards and Floyd Edwards.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Helen Edwards and one son Thomas Allen Edwards, both of Grady, one brother, Howard Edwards of Warren and one sister Sue Dutton (Gerald) of Star City.
Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 2026 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Griffin Funeral Service Chapel in Star City. Graveside services will follow at 2:30PM in New Hope Cemetery (Cleveland County) with Bro. Wes Sparks officiating.
