Charles Joseph “C.J.” Moore, 49, of White Hall passed away, Monday, March 30, 2026. He was born August 29, 1976 in Pine Bluff to Charlie Esial Moore and Emily Genette Cowell Moore.

C.J. was raised and educated in White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School. He received his firefighting technical degree from the Arkansas Fire Training Academy in Camden, then worked as a firefighter for the Stuttgart Fire Department and at the White Hall Volunteer Fire Department. C.J. coached football and baseball while his children were growing up. He loved his grandbabies and loved joking around and making people laugh. He was a member of the Highway 79 Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa O’Mary Moore, whom he married June 8, 2000; children, Taylor Bennett (Derek), Fisher Woolems (Shantayea) and Jericho Moore; grandchildren, Dalton Thomas Woolems and Ava Grace Woolems; mother, Emily Genette Moore; brother, Troy Moore (Jennifer); sister, Michelle Sargent (Chris); golden retriever, Abbott; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his father, Charlie Esial Moore.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services at this time.
