Carl Edwin Puckett, Jr., age 86 of Poyen, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Encore Healthcare and Rehab. He was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on August 8, 1939, to the late Carl Edwin Puckett, Sr. and Nelly Mae Grant Puckett. Reared and educated in North Little Rock, he had been a resident of Malvern for 50 years. He was a loyal member of the Moose Lodge, the Ironworkers Union, and enjoyed woodworking and being in the outdoors. Carl was a member of Hunter’s Chapel Methodist Church. He was the husband of the former Beverly Jones, to whom he was married on October 29, 1968.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; his children, Roxanne Pond (Dale), Wesley Puckett (Deana), Buddy Puckett (Kim), John Puckett, and Gregory Puckett (Amber); 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind loyal friends Daryl and Teresa Duran, and his loving pup, Honey.
Carl was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Maracle, and a sister, Vicky Dominguez.
The family offers their deepest gratitude to the staff of Encore Healthcare and Rehab, and to the Hospice Homecare crew, especially Maddie.
At Carl’s request, there will be no services.
