Marguerite Davis Stophel, 96, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2026.
She was born July 23, 1929, in Lonoke County, to Pate and Undine Bise Davis.
She received her education in Lonoke County and was a loving wife and mother, spending her time taking care of their home.
After moving to Pine Bluff, she became a member of Forrest Park Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Eugene Stophel, whom she married on April 23, 1949, in Stuttgart; a son, Jerry Dennis Stophel; brothers, Sonny Davis, Jimmy Davis, Gary Davis; sisters, Linda Lambert and Wanda Staton.
Survivors include her daughter, Paulette Christy of Little Rock, brother, Danny Davis of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Amber Lecy (James) of Little Rock, Keith Smithwick of Pine Bluff; four great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2026, 9 to 10 a.m. at Ralph Robinson & Son.
Graveside service will be Friday, March 27, 2026, 10:30 a.m. at Cypress Memorial Gardens, with Brother Ferrel West officiating.
