V. Elaine Hyden, 89, a lifetime resident of Clarksville, Arkansas, passed away at her home on March 5, 2026. She was born on March 4, 1937.
After graduating from Hartman High School, she worked at her father's business. Later, she worked in the office of Hanford Hatchery and Feed Mill, where she met her future husband, Harold Hyden. They were married in 1964 and were together for 56 years until he passed away in 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Abe and Ethel (Reeves) Ford.
She is survived by her son Steven (Laura) Hyden of Clarksville, AR, daughter Anna Hyden of Clarksville, AR, grandchildren Zachary (Sarah) Hyden of Farmington, AR, Riley Hyden of Russellville, AR, two sisters, Betty Oberste of Clarksville, AR, Carol Martin of Jericho Springs, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Hunt, AR.
