Sheila Renee Paul, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on December 12, 1960, in Dumas, Arkansas, to Elisha Harris Sr. and Bobbie Jean Paul. Born and raised in Dumas, Sheila built strong roots in the community that knew and loved her well. She peacefully departed this life on February 27, 2026, leaving a legacy of love, strength, and kindness in the hearts of all who knew her.

Sheila spent time living in Chicago, Illinois, before eventually returning home to Arkansas, where she continued building her life surrounded by family and loved ones.

Sheila was known for her warm spirit and genuine personality. She believed strongly in treating others with kindness and fairness, a value she proudly passed down to her daughter.

Sheila had a strong work ethic and took pride in her work throughout her life. She was employed at Central Wire in Dumas, Arkansas, and later worked at Brookshire’s in White Hall, Arkansas. Outside of work, Sheila enjoyed cooking heartwarming meals for family and friends, watching the news, and keeping a close eye on the weather. She also loved fashion and carried herself with style and confidence.

Sheila carried a strong faith in God. Prayer was an important part of her life, and she often found comfort and strength through her relationship with the Lord.

Above all, Sheila loved her family deeply. She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Tailor, and took great pride in raising her. The bond they shared was one of deep love, guidance, and unwavering support. Tailor was truly the light of her life. Sheila also cherished her role as a grandmother to her grandson, Kareem, who brought her immense joy and happiness.

Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Elisha Harris Sr.; her mother, Bobbie Jean Paul; and her grandmother, Henrietta Paul.

She is survived by her daughter, Tailor; her grandson, Kareem; and her six siblings: Shirlvia Harris, Alma Harris, Elisha Harris Jr., Alfred Harris, Victor Harris, and Marcus Paul. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
