Raymond Lewis Townley, 81
1944-2026

Raymond Lewis Townley, 81, of White Hall, was a kind, loving husband and family man who had many passions, including music, history, photography, videography, woodworking and upholstery.

He passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Raymond was born April 7, 1944, in Malvern, son of Henry Collie Townley and Dona Felty Townley.

He was reared and received his early education in Malvern, graduating from Malvern High School. Raymond attended Henderson State University for a short time before graduating from Pines Vocational Technical College.

Raymond had a long, successful career at Central Moloney, retiring as a draftsman engineer after 54 years.

Along with his many passions, he enjoyed camping at the lake and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Evelyn Holford.

Survivors include his loving wife, Elizabeth Ann Hathcock Townley; three daughters, Cheryl Pickens (Ralph), Shannon Allbright (Jack Bumpass) and Amy Reed (Robert); sister, Vivian Turbyfill; grandchildren, Sara, Miles (April), Stephen (Kirstin), Dylan (Evelyn), Kaz (Alexis), Jarred (Haley) and Ryan (Leighton); step-grandchildren, Haylee and Irene; eight great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild on the way; and his beloved dog, Yackie.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Brother David Poe officiating. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Robinson and Fuller in White Hall. Burial will be private.
