Alpha Dale Sullivan 80 of Star City, Arkansas, passed away February 19, 2026. Born in Gould, Arkansas, on September 27, 1945, the son of the late Raymond and Sybil Sullivan. His parents, six brothers and two sisters all preceded him in death.
Dale was a member of First Baptist Church in Star City, member of Butler Hunting Club. Dale was owner of Delta Auto Electric for forty-one years he repaired small engines, alternators, generators and starters. After retirement he had more time to enjoy fishing, hunting and riding tractors.
Survivors are his wife Peggy Williams Sullivan of Star City, Arkansas son Doyle (Melana) Sullivan of Valley Springs, Arkansas and two daughters Drew (Mike) Lavigne of Monticello, Arkansas and Diana Sullivan Straughn of Star City, Arkansas, brother Eugene Sullivan of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and two sisters, Sharon Manes of Monticello, Arkansas and Debra Mazekia of Texas, six grandchildren; Christopher Lavigne, Clayton (Erin) Lavigne, Breeann (Grant) Ragland, Lakyn Sullivan, Gage Sullivan and Madison Straughn and three great grandchildren.
Family will receive family and friends during visitation, from 2-4pm, Monday, February 23, 2026, at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas, Arkansas. Memorials in memory of Dale to be made to First Baptist Church, 200 West Wiley Avenue, Star City, Arkansas 71667. Arrangements made by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, AR.
