1939-2026
Peggy Burford Dreher, 86, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. She was born to the late Charlie and Lillie Garlington Burford on June 30, 1939, in Cleveland County, Arkansas.
Peggy was a former teacher, family farm bookkeeper and homemaker. She was a member of Grady Methodist Church, Delta Chi Ladies Sorority of Grady and served on the Grady School Board. Her church and fellow church members were a big part of her life.
Peggy was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Edward Dreher, Jr. and son Robert Edward Dreher, III.
Survivors are son, John Dreher (Kelley) of Little Rock and grandchildren Dr. Katie Dreher Keener (Wesley) and Sarah Dreher, and great grandchild Avery Rose Keener.
Visitation will be held at the Grady Methodist Church Friday, February 20, 2026, at 12:30PM with funeral services following at 1:30PM. Bro. Roger Milligan will be officiating. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery near Fordyce. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dreher, Paul Dreher, Gil Dreher, Jack Jackson, John Tyson and Wayne Isaacs. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Harvey and Randy Hardin.
