Joyce Yaney, 91
1934-2026

Joyce Yaney, 91, of White Hall, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Born Melba Joyce Webb February 21, 1934, in Ferda, Arkansas, she was a daughter of Robert and Mamie Camp Webb.

Joyce was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff and White Hall before becoming a seamstress.

She was a seamstress for almost all of her adult life, working for Marjorie’s Drape Shop and independently. Even while working in the cafeteria for the Pine Bluff School District for over 20 years, Joyce still found time to make drapes for her clients and family.

Joyce was a lifelong member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church for 78 years. When she was not teaching Sunday School or BTC, Joyce was a member of the Berean Sunday School class.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Charles Yaney, whom she married July 3, 1953; two brothers, Volley Webb and Robert Lee Webb; son-in-law, Michael Taylor; and daughter-in-law, Teresa Yaney.

Survivors include her son, Dickey Yaney of White Hall; two daughters, Karen Taylor of White Hall and Stacy Rinehart (Greg) of Bryant; grandchildren, Angelia Yaney, Robert Yaney, Brandon Taylor, Brooke Taylor and Jimmy Lunsford; great-grandchildren, Connor Yaney, Lilly Lunsford and Takota Lunsford; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2026, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Brother Jonathan Witcher officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday morning from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Robinson and Fuller.
