Kenneth “Kenny” Blissitt, 67
1958-2026

Kenneth “Kenny” E. Blissitt age 67 of McGehee, Arkansas, departed this life February 9, 2026 at his home. Kenny was born October 13, 1958 in Dermott, Arkansas, to the late Preston Blissitt and Dortha Blissitt.

Kenny was a retired real estate broker having owned Delta Farm and Home Real Estate. Prior to his career in real estate he had a long-term career in the cable industry, working at both the McGehee and Monticello cable systems.

Kenny’s pride and joy was his children and grandchildren, whom he loved spending time with and cherished their phone calls and visits.

Kenny was an avid Razorback fan, spending many hours cheering on the Hogs. He also loved floating the Buffalo River with family and friends. Some of Kenny’s best stories and fondest memories were made over the span of 30 years, when he went on the annual float trip with the same group of friends.

Kenny was a life-long resident of McGehee, Arkansas and loved being a southern boy. He loved riding the levee and listening to music, especially when the fields were white with cotton.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Preston Blissitt and Dortha Blissitt, two sisters, Louise Partin and Lena Hall, and three brothers, James “Butch” Blissett, Major Blissitt and Gerald Blissitt.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Pamela Blissitt, two sons, Beau Blissitt of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Matthew Blissitt (Lauren) of Marion, Arkansas, one step-daughter, Amber Moser of Tonitown, Arkansas, and one step-son, Adam Bailey (Amanda) of Springdale, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Hudson and Noah Moser, Clara Blissitt and Alice Bailey, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the McGehee Food Pantry at P.O. Box 903, McGehee, AR 71654.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow with Bro. Buddy Ratliff officiating.
