Beverly Joyce Knight, 87, of Dumas, Arkansas passed away February 7, 2026, in Conway, Arkansas. Born August 14, 1938, in Dumas, Arkansas, the daughter of the late G. Vernon Riley and Opal Kirtley Riley. Her parents, husband Thomas “Tom” Knight, sisters, Maxine Milligan, Mary Jo Chance and Ella Mae Riley and brothers, Leon Riley and Junior Riley, all preceded her in death.
Joyce was a member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church. She retired in 2000 after twenty-five years with Arkansas Department of Corrections to become a homemaker.
Survivors are sons, Neal Wood of Dumas, Arkansas and Barry (Kim) Wood of White Hall, Arkansas, Daughters, Stacy (Calvin) Lenderman of Dumas, Arkansas, Leslie Dutton and Laura McKinney of Star City, Arkansas, and Lisa (Doug) Hollowell of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, brother Ronnie (Jennie) Riley of Mountain Home, Arkansas, sisters, Frances Hill, Diane (Darrell) Fisher all of Dumas, Arkansas, Brenda (Frank) Sarringar of Redfield, Arkansas, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation and service held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Griffin Funeral Home, visitation from 1pm until services at 2pm, with Rev. Dubs Byers and Roger Milligan officiating and burial following at Dark Corner Cemetery. The family has requested that In lieu of flowers that donations be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1Children’s Way, Slot 661, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202, or to Dark Corner Cemetery, 2103 State Hwy., 83 North, Dumas, Arkansas 71639.
