Sharon Kay Moore Irons, 76 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, in her home with her husband of 55 years holding her hand.
Sharon was born March 20, 1949, in Dermott, Arkansas to the late Harve Moore and Edith Irene (Lewis) Moore. Sharon was known for her hard work, starting at Southwestern Bell Telephone Operator (SWB), Arkansas Express Freightways, American Freightways, and retired as the Columbia County Librarian.
Sharon was a faithful and longtime member of Antioch East Baptist Church. She loved traveling with her husband, digesting 100’s of books for reading pleasure, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Harve and Irene Moore; sisters, Edith Janette Goggans, Marilyn Ann Pless; brothers, Jimmy Wayne Moore, Quincey Ray Moore, and Terry Lynn Moore; and a grandson Griffin Lee Irons.
Sharon is survived by her husband Stanley Albert Irons of Magnolia; three sons, Christopher Stanley Irons (Rebecca) of Little Rock, Eric Ryan Irons (Kayla) of Conway, and Rodney O’Neal Irons (Ashley) of Magnolia; grandsons, Caulder Irons (Savannah) of Conway and Wyatt Irons of Magnolia; granddaughters, Alexandria Irons, Brianna Irons, Hallie-Claire Irons, Adeline Irons all of Conway, and Emilia Irons of Magnolia; sisters, Melba Janice Moore and Teresa Warf (Randy); brothers, Harvey Moore and Dennis Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation with the family will begin at 9:00 am on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Antioch East Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 am with Bro. Ron Owen and Bro. Danny Bullock officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia. Burial will be at 2:30 PM at Jefferson Cemetery in Tillar, Arkansas under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas, AR.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Stinnett, Tony Leslie, Larry Parker, Matthew Langheld, Tim Wooley, Jeff Morgan, Caulder Irons, Wyatt Irons, Chris Irons, Eric Irons, Rodney Irons, Randy Warf, and Jackie Goggans.
