Arkansas has been ranked as the most pro-life state in the nation for the sixth consecutive year.
This announcement was made during the 48th annual March for Life held in Little Rock.
Participants, including families, church groups, and lawmakers, marched along Capitol Avenue to the Arkansas State Capitol in what organizers described as a peaceful and prayerful event.
The march, sponsored by Arkansas Right to Life, commemorated the anniversary of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion.
Organizers emphasized the event’s focus on remembering unborn children lost to abortion and celebrating what they call ongoing pro-life successes in the state.
Guest speaker Katherine Presley Herring shared her personal story of being given the abortion pill secretly by her ex-husband, which led to the loss of her baby. She recounted how, with guidance, she followed the abortion pill reversal protocol to save her child’s life.”What she went through, her story of how she fought for this baby and how God spared her, how God spared her baby, it was just so moving to me,” said Jaime Land. The event highlighted the importance of extending support and love to women facing similar circumstances.
