Jennifer Green, born Jennifer Edwards, made her debut on December 22, 1965, in Arkansas to the proud parents Betty Jean Fells and James Otis Edwards. Raised by her grandmother, Mollie Fells, Jennifer began her education at Wells Bayou School and later transferred to Dumas Public Schools. Jennifer played in the Dumas High School Band and was a Cheerleader….GO BOBCATS! She went on to graduate with the Bobcat Class of 1984.

Jennifer loved to cook, read, travel and for some reason unbeknownst to many, she loved to wash dishes and sweep. Jennifer’s favorite color was purple (not the movie). Quiet but adventurous. Jennifer touched many lives and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her nickname is Fannie, which free one.

Trying her hand in various jobs between Dumas and Little Rock, Jennifer wanting a change, moved to Dallas, Texas. She went to school for Medical Assisting and X-Ray Technician. She ultimately settled in the mortgage industry. Serving over 20 years, she was currently employed with Fairway Independent Mortgage.

Rooted in faith, Jennifer was a true woman of God. She was baptized and joined Free Gift MBC in Dumas at an early age. She later became a member of the Union Baptist MBC where she served until she moved to Dallas, Texas. Church was in her. As her faith increased and she grew as a Christian, she joined First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park in Richardson, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Greg Foster. Jennifer was a faithful member and served on the Usher Ministry #2 Board. Jennifer relocated back to Arkansas, residing in Conway. She wasted no time joining Greater Pleasant Branch MBC under the leadership of Pastor Artee Williams. She continued to attend church until her health failed her and her ultimately passing.

Jennifer was preceded in death by both her parents, grandparents, granddaughter, Symone Jackson, two stepbrothers, Stacy and Derrick Harrell, (2) Auntie Sisters, Janet Lewis and Mae Fells.

Jennifer leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy her sons Markendrick Green of Crowley, Texas, and Aaron Jackson Jr. of Dallas, Texas, her daughter Antwanique (Marquis) Washington of St. Louis, Missouri, (2) granddaughters, Sakiya Jackson of US Navy, Virginia and Tiaonna Ivery of St. Louis, Missouri, her grandson Avery Jackson of Houston, Texas, and bonus grandson, Raymon Miles of Dallas, Texas, (1) brother James (The Boss) Edwards of Columbia, (3) step sisters Lashon Christopher of Little Rock, Arkansas, Brea Jasper of Florida, Monique Martin of Monticello, Arkansas, (4) Sister/Aunts Joann Daniels, Marsha Huskey, Angela Fells, Shawn Fells, (4) Brother/Uncles Fred, Levell, Tommy and Leonard Fells and a host of nieces, nephews, and family members.
