Waldo, Ark. — An arrest has been made in the shooting death of a Camden man that occurred at a Waldo gas station on Friday December 26.
The Camden man, Corey Carson Jr., 21, was taken to the Magnolia Regional Center by way of a personal vehicle while the crime scene was being assessed, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
He unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Jamari Young, 19, was taken in on Sunday, December 28, on a warrant for 1st Degree Murder.
Young, of Camden, is being held at the Columbia County Detention Facility.
