1939-2025
Zelpha Jean Stewart, 86, of Star City passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at her home. She was born March 11, 1939, to late the Veo and Eunice Armstronge Rauls. Zelpha was a member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Palmyra where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, cooking, watching her hummingbirds, and she loved her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stewart, son, Daniel Wayne Stewart Sr., an infant daughter, a sister, Joyce Caroline Nichols, and a grandson, Brandon Stewart.
Survivors include one brother, Raymon Rauls (Carolyn) of Pine Bluff, two grandchildren, Daniel Stewart Jr. (Kyra) of Star City, Kendall Dobbs of Blytheville, and four great grandchildren, Alice Crawford, Anakin Crawford, Elias Hughes, and Jacklyn Rose Stewart.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 22, 2025, at Griffin Funeral Service from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM in Shady Grove Cemetery with Bro. David Harrington officiating.
