1938-2025
Rosie Lee Bordenaro Thompson, 87 of Dumas, Arkansas passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 12, 2025. Born March 3, 1938, in Bonita, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Nick and Mamie Martin Bordenaro. Her parents, and husbands, Millard Waltman and Houston (Rusty) Thompson, son Richard Waltman, two brothers and five sisters and one grandson Joshua Waltman, all preceded her in death.
Rosie attended the Baptist church, she enjoyed going for rides, coloring, word search puzzles, watching western movies, watching birds and trains and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Survivors are two sons, James (Betty) Waltman of Monticello, Arkansas and Charles (Norma) Waltman of Dumas, Arkansas and two daughters Linda Cessor of Tillar, Arkansas and Tina Pattillio of Texas, brother Tony (Rosie) Bordenaro of Bonita, Louisiana, fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 1:00-2:00pm with service to follow at 2:00pm both at Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Arkansas, with Rev. Steve Kelly officiating and burial following in Jefferson Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Rosie may be made to donor’s choice. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, AR.
