Emma Jean Wallace, 94, of Pine Bluff went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
She was born in Dortch, Arkansas October 1, 1931, to the late George Washington Henderson and Mary Ann Holley Henderson. She graduated from Plum Bayou High School. Emma married Edmond Ray Wallace in 1951. They were members of Hwy 79 Church of Christ in Pine Bluff.
She cherished the days she spent fishing with her late husband, Edmond. She loved to sing—often making up songs of her own—and found joy in being surrounded by her family and her church family. Her warmth, humor, and love for others will always be remembered.
In addition to her parents and husband, Emma was preceded in death by her son, Calvin Wallace; grandson, James Timothy Cothran; son-in-law, Dale Frederick; five brothers and five sisters
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Frederick and Paula Hite (David); son, Ronnie Wallace (Patricia); grandsons, Billy Quarles and Zachary Hite; granddaughter, Holly Hite; seven great grandchildren, Justin and Lilyan Quarles, Dalton, Chandler, Trystan, and Kirsten Cothran, Cooper Franklin; and one great-great grandson, Asa Cothran.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2025, at Hwy 79 Church of Christ in Pine Bluff, with Mr. Clarence Fell officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior.
A private interment will take place at Hardin Cemetery.
