The Watson Chapel boys basketball team has withdrawn from the 2025 King Cotton Holiday Classic, tournament officials confirmed.
In a statement released on Monday, Watson Chapel made the decision to pull out of the tournament, which is scheduled to begin later this month, after evaluating the tournament field.
Tournament officials said they are now working to adjust the schedule and accommodate the opening created by Watson Chapel’s withdrawal.
The Watson Chapel girls basketball team remains in the tournament and is scheduled to play on opening night. The Lady Wildcats will tip off at 4 p.m. CST on Dec. 27.
