Cynthia Faye White Hefley, 65
1960-2025

Cindy Faye Hefley, 65, of Gillett, Arkansas, passed away on December 3, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She departed this life following a courageous battle with Alzheimer's that began in 2017.

She was born on April 19, 1960, in Selma, Alabama, to the late Ralph and Doris White. A bright and dedicated student, Cindy was the Valedictorian of the Gillett High School Class of 1978. She went on to build a career at Riceland Foods, where she worked faithfully until her retirement after 27 years of service.

Cindy’s life was defined by love and spontaneity. On October 27, 1989, she met Rick Hefley on a blind date. Their connection was undeniable, and less than a month later, on November 24, 1989, they were married. Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Cindy was a member of the Gillett Methodist Church and was known by all for her sweet spirit and beautiful smile. She truly never met a stranger. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: reading, baking, shopping, and camping. She loved traveling, going on mission trips, and taking nature drives specifically to look for deer.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Hefley; her son, Ryan Hefley and his wife Kaley of Bella Vista; and her grandson, Aidan Joseph “AJ” Hefley. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Lucy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Doris White.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Estelle Mullins, Becki Weinrich, First Choice Home Health, and Hospice Home Care - Pine Bluff for their wonderful caregiving, support, and end-of-life care.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Gillett Methodist Church, followed immediately by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with J.D. Walt officiating. Burial will follow at Gillett Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Gillett Methodist Church, Alzheimer’s Arkansas, or a charity of the donor's choice.
