On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) is hosting Beyond the Closet: Fashion With a Purpose, a unique fashion show that combines empowerment, creativity, and community support in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
This event will feature:
- Impact Talk by LaTisha Brunson of 100 Families
- A Talent & Tribute performance by Dr. John Proctor, ending with a candle lighting honoring survivors and victims
- Runway showcases with themes such as Blast from the Past, Sustainability in Style, Gen Z Drip, and Dress for Success
- Special remarks from Tamela Garth of Casa Women’s Shelter
Guests will also donate clothing and toiletries for SEARK’s Career Closet, which provides students with free professional attire for interviews, internships, and career opportunities.
