At 6′ 8″, it’s easy to see why Cory Schroeder’s nickname is “Stretch”. The easy going 44 year old from Benton disappeared in May of 2019 and hasn’t been heard from since. He was last seen being dropped off outside the Avila Family Market in Alexander and his family, including his sister Charise is hoping that someone still has some knowledge of what happened to him after that.
“He was a big goof. 6 feet 8 inches tall and 235 pounds of all heart,” Charise said. “He’s give you the shirt off his back.”
The day he disappeared, May 21, 2019, was just a day before he would have turned 45.
Charise and other family members believe that there are people in Saline County or the area that have answers.
