Please join State 4-H Secretary, Sylvanna Burgess, and other State Officers in hosting a 4-H Meet and Greet in Jefferson County. This recruitment event for students and leaders will provide introductions to 4-H programs and leadership opportunities, as well as an overview of 4-H programming in Jefferson County and its impact on our youth.
This open invitation is for all county leaders, city leaders, school officials, community leaders, parents and students who are interested in 4-H programing and making a difference in our county.
4-H is the premier youth development program, that encourages young people ages 5–19 to reach their full potential. The program encourages youth to work and learn in partnership with caring adults.
The Jefferson County 4-H program is part of the Extension Service, which is part of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture. Timothy Wallace is the County Agent responsible for 4-H programs.
