Star City Cheerleaders and Bruiser (School Mascot) attended cheer camp at University of Central Arkansas at Conway. SCHS Cheerleaders won 1st place in the Band Dance Competition, Overall Superior or Cheer Squad and the Spirit Stick. They also received multiple gold and blue ribbons through out the week and took home the overall award, The Banana.
Three cheerleaders were awarded the Pin it Forward Award for their outstanding leadership. They are Olivia Reed, Mary Claire Reed and Ennsleigh Levengood.
Bruiser (Patience Rushing) made All American Mascot and was also awarded Superior Ribbons, Superior Trophy and Spirit Stick.
